Allow time for road conditions and changing mountain weather. Bring warm layers, suitable footwear and personal essentials; respect local communities. Mountain treks require suitable fitness, acclimatization and experienced local support. Exact meeting point, accommodation, meals, transport and permit arrangements will be stated in the final written quotation.
Meet in Skardu, check equipment and complete local preparations. Transfer toward Askole when roads and access permit.
Follow a progressive Baltoro route with supported camping, rest and acclimatization suited to the group.
Attempt the base-camp objective only if the guide, conditions and group readiness permit. Arrival is not guaranteed.
Retrace the Baltoro route, return toward Skardu and retain delay contingency. Gondogoro La is excluded from this proposed itinerary.
This proposed expedition is 20 days, including preparation, acclimatization, return trekking and contingency. It is an extended mountain expedition rather than a two-day sightseeing tour.
