Getting to Fairy Meadows is part of the experience. Travellers first reach Raikot Bridge on the Karakoram Highway, then continue by local jeep to Tattu village. From Tattu, the route to the meadows follows a mountain trail on foot. The journey rewards visitors with changing views of the valley, forested slopes and surrounding peaks. Local drivers operate the steep jeep track, and visitors should check road and weather conditions before setting out. District Tours
Once at the meadows, visitors can walk through the grassy landscape, relax at a campsite or lodge, and enjoy the view of Nanga Parbat rising above the valley. The scenery changes through the day as clouds and sunlight move across the mountain. Fairy Meadows is also a starting point for a longer trek towards Nanga Parbat Base Camp and nearby Beyal Camp. These hikes offer closer views of the mountain and Raikot Glacier, but require suitable footwear, preparation and advice from local guides
