Nanga Parbat Base Camp is a spectacular trekking destination in Diamer District, Gilgit-Baltistan. From here, the trail continues towards Beyal Camp and onward to Nanga Parbat Base Camp, with views of the mountain and Raikot Glacier along the way. Reaching Fairy Meadows is part of the adventure. Travellers drive to Raikot Bridge on the Karakoram Highway, continue by local jeep to Tattu village, and then hike to the meadows. From there, the route climbs through mountain landscapes towards the base camp. Visitors can choose to stay overnight at Fairy Meadows or Beyal Camp, giving them more time to enjoy the scenery and adjust to the altitude.

The area offers a remarkable change of views as the trail progresses. Open meadows give way to rugged terrain, glacial scenery and close views of Nanga Parbat’s towering slopes. It is an excellent route for travellers who want a demanding mountain hike without attempting a summit climb.
